Start Electric Service

Note: All fields with an * are required.

To apply for electric service, you will need to have a driver's license, your social security number and a copy of the lease or proof of purchase. Please ensure the address you are requesting service for is located on the contract. These items can be faxed to 910-230-2981 or scanned and e-mailed to mydocs@sremc.com.

Forms submitted after 5 p.m. will be worked the following business day. New service is not connected after 5 p.m., weekends or holidays.
