Operation Round Up grant applications are once again available from South River EMC’s charitable donations program. The deadline for submission is approaching quickly, November 22 to be exact.
The program collects donations from participating South River EMC members through their electric bill to improve the quality of life for our community through schools and nonprofit organizations.
South River EMC’s foundation, the Community Assistance Corporation, primarily gives funds to organizations serving the health, safety, education or recreational needs of citizens within our service area.
Applications can be found online at www.sremc.com/content/operation-round.
Organizations can only receive one grant per calendar year, with a maximum amount of $5,000. Educational institutions can apply for grants up to $10,000. Applications are currently available for the December funding cycle. Completed applications are due to the Cooperative headquarters no later than November 22. And don’t forget your copies!
